Do they work well? I thought about some for my pug. Something about it means that if the car's even a bit wet, as soon as you crack the window tons of water comes in.

Best tax disc holder ever: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Magoo-Plain...9JM8/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1362413377&sr=8-3

Only properly plain one I've ever found!

Just bought that tax disc holder - cheers! :p

Only had the deflectors on since today and it has been miraculously dry! However, I've done a few miles testing it for buffeting and it's very good thus far. Easy enough to install too, takes about a minute for each door. I know what you mean about the water thing - last couple of cars have had the same problem, meaning that even if you use the windscreen washer you have to close the windows sharpish.

WOW! Was it free or a company purchase? I'm amazed anyone would buy one.

Have they updated Chrome to support touch properly, as IE 10 is miles ahead on Windows 8, but I guess they could be keeping a good version for themselves.

£449 but depends on route £399-499. £2200 in total as I'm not making the charity pay anything. Fully self funded.

I have complete and total respect for that. Far too many people, IMHO, use 'charity' to get themselves a free holiday and do the trip of a lifetime gratis. For you to fully self fund it, meaning any donations you receive are going to charity not to cover your costs, is what this sort of thing should be about.

An example to many. Good luck.

Lol, out my own pocket. Seems a quite a lot of folks have purchased them - at least into double figures now I think :p

Actually I'm really impressed with it so far, keyboard is a joy to use and the screen is damn impressive. Not too concerned regarding the local storage space as I don't see it as an issue for it's intended purpose. Although I do intend to strip the unit down to confirm if the ssd is socketed or soldered, pre-production units seem to suggest the latter.

I've not experienced IE10 on a touch screen so I can't make a comparison, and so far I've mainly been using the keyboard but no complaints over Chrome and it's touch support so far. All in all so far so good, looking forward to experimenting with getting Linux on the device and in general seeing what I can do with it.

Discrepancy with the cloud storage though, offer was free 1TB for 3 years, but then says 'Get [email protected] started with 1 TB of free space for 2 years' with you try to redeem it. Hope it's not us Brits getting shafted. ( And no jokes about my already getting shafted by buying it in the first place please :) )

Update: Spoke to support, seems the original offer was on for 2years and they've not got round to updating the webpage. - Makes you wonder eh.
