7950 - what to get?

I'm currently looking at the gigabyte windforce 3x (I don't it's the boosted card either so that's the better PCB/power right?)

Or

VTX3D X-Edition Radeon HD 7950 OC. Factory clocked to 930GHz core

Or

Sapphire HD 7950 BOOST (not the vapor-x edition though sadly)

What's my best choice do we think? I'm kinda sliding towards the windforce at the moment.

If its based on stock cooling then the gigabyte or the vapor x if you can get a deal on it.

i just read that on those new GB 7950 WF3 voltage is locked..hope Trixx will help with that..

I think that's the 7970s not the 7950s

W3 7950 isn't voltage locked. Least both mine aren't and they both came with different bios's.

I think the BIOS on the WF3 7950 that runs at 1000mhz core as stock has the voltage control gimped and locked at 1.25v(which is more than enough IMO), pretty sure it can be got around by flashing an older 900mhz BIOS though.

Does it ?

Mine does 1100/1500 stable.

Once it gets to 1150 on the core, it starts to complain a little.

1200 seems to be quite rare, from what I`ve read.

what voltage do you use for those clocks? An user defined fan control. Im having issues with mine atm
