Trimmed to positional accuracy

The sound of the PC 350 Special Edition Noise Blocking gaming headset has been specially developed to provide an extremely ‘game realistic’ soundscape. This is achieved by reproducing high sounds such as gun shots and explosions, by adding high-level bass control.

Like its predecessor; the PC 350, it features our “Eargonomic Acoustic Refinement” technology, which delivers ultimate sonic accuracy and clarity by channeling signals directly into your ears. Unique to this line of PC gaming headsets, this makes it easier to hear where each sound comes from, without adding rendering the audio through surround sound software.

The best - improved

With the PC 350 Special Edition Noise Blocking gaming headset we went back and improved what is widely regarded as one of the best PC gaming headsets around. The Special Edition features an updated and even more durable closed design for gaming in privacy as well as new design and improved user friendly features.
For gaming in private

The closed design provided by the custom-made aluminum ear-cups isolates you from any outside noise, so you hear even the faintest detail of your game. This makes the headset ideal for use at noisy gaming events.

Comfort or luxury?

The PC 363D Surround Sound gaming headset blurs the line between extreme comfort and out-and-out luxury. It provides a deep directional audio experience and using Dolby® Headphone technology, it delivers 7.1 virtual surround sound for the non-compromising PC gamer who seeks nothing but the best audio experience and comfort. The PC 363D Surround Sound gaming headset features large and comfortable XXL velvet ear pads, which cushions your ears while gaming. And to keep you cool, lazer-cut open design aluminium ear-cups allows air to circulate, keep your head cool and prevent sweat to build up.

If you use your headset for online gaming, you will be in safe hands. Just like the PC 360 model, the PC 363D Surround Sound gaming headset comes equipped with our best gaming microphone to date. Featuring top-quality noise cancelation, it’s also fully flexible so you decide where it should sit and how close to your mouth you want it to be. Good news! About time that exclusive deal ended with you know who ;)

Wasn't really fair discontinuing the PC360 then giving the replacement for it an exclusive at a single retailer.

Price is great.

I was just about to order the PC 360! Glad I saw this!

I take it the PC 350SE is closed ear and the PC 363D is open?
Are we looking at next week before they're in stock?

Thought I would just let people know that I purchased the 350SE headset the other day and wanted to share my thoughts.

Firstly. This headset NEEDS a headphone amp. I was using some Senn HD25s before this and when I switched to the 350s all that was going through my head is "where is the bass and the lows?". I haven't got a decent soundcard yet and still using onboard so I'm really hoping it is a amp issue and not the actual headphones because it really is lacking. This is even me knowing that the HD25s do up the bass a bit, they are DJ monitor headphones after all.

Secondly. These leak sound. I chose the 350s because I wanted closed headphones because I wanted headphones so I can play games and no one else hear. Sadly this isn't really the case.

However I do love these headphones, they sit great on my head. Braided cable is a nice touch. Mic boom is excellent and turns off the mic when you bring it up. Case is nice to have but will never use it. Volume on the headset is cool but I'm having a hard time actually using it. Maybe because I have my volume control mapped on my mouse. It's there if you need it though.

If these provide more bass with a amp then I say get it. However if they don't, then I would say these are much too expensive. Luckily I had a £50 voucher for another store (sorry OcUK) so used that to get these. Really I wanted it for the mic and my friends don't complain anymore.

350 in new packaging? 'Needs a headphone amp' and 'where is the bass' sound familiar. I really hope this SE edition is noticeably better than the 350, because that was available for £110.

It basically is but I didn't like the volume control/mic mute on the cable on the 350 so I was waiting for this. But I believe it is basically the same drivers. I haven't tried the original 350 so I can't really say. But I know if I was listening to music I would grab my HD25s straight away.

I have the "old" 360's on pre-order for £128.

Really don't want to pay a premium for virtually the same headset, especially don't need that USB extension when I have an Essence STX.

Now if anyone gets upset about not having the virtual 7.1, well with the Xonar unified drivers and the mod with DHT4 creates 5.1 or 7.1 sound from any two-channel input.

Has anyone on here done a proper " user" review of the PC 363D's. Most of the reviews I've read appear to be a bit "rosetinted" towards the manufacturer.
