65c at full load? if so that's fine,if its at idle then somethings very wrong

ive been playing around this afternoon and got vcore down to 1.11 @4.4GHz gives me about 80 on full load. so to be honest giving extra 1GHz isnt bad. just wanted to go a little further
i have benfix shinobi case so wondering if airflow isn't the best? i have gtx 560 in there too which i think is stopping some air flow.

what cooler are you using? anything below 80c is fine for 4.4/4.5ghz
I was hitting 72c with a huge silver arrow cooler
remember you can set cpu voltage to normal and undervolt in dvid with minus so -0.010v -0.015v and so on
cpu will use less than 1v at idle and full voltage/speed if stressed

Whilst the shinobi's are poor for airflow, (shinobi xl owner here). Mine idles in the mid 20's, 75c max under p95, 1.300 vcore. Cooler is an alpenfohn k2 which is similair to the noctua nh-d14. This is also with a highly clocked gtx 670 wf, a non reference card that dumps it's heat into the case.

im looking at getting some fans for the case (have 1 intake and 1 exhaust) with a controller as the z77x motherboard doesn't seem the best fan controllers and i feel i need to get some air through it.

im looking at getting some fans for the case (have 1 intake and 1 exhaust) with a controller as the z77x motherboard doesn't seem the best fan controllers and i feel i need to get some air through it.

will look at replacing my heatsink maybe. if i use 1.3vcore my i5 hits tjmax temps. especially on core #2

Max temperatures 85~°c
Voltage: 1.110v~
Most likely will change CPU cooler and add more fans + controller to keep the temperatures down.

think i'll stick to stock till i get a better heatsink. i'm even tempted to try the stock cooler!how wide is your case? a noctua d14 or silver arrow cooler would be ideal but you would need low profile memory and a wide case as they are huge
if you can find out how wide it is from motherboard to the edge of the side panel your halfway there as you already have low profile ram
the d14 is slightly less taller than the silver arrow plus its easier to install
I haven't had a chance to de-lid my chip, but my Samsung Green 8GB ram came today. v1.55 9-10-10-24-1T 2133MHz. Instantly booted, no errors. This ram is amazing and SO SO SMALL!
I need to find a razor blade before I can de-lid, I tried with one from a shaver but it was too flimsy and the local hardware store just did not sell *any* razors. Anyone know where I can get one from?
Either way, extremely impressed with Coollaboratory Liquid Ultra. It's dropped my temperatures by 15'c just by replacing my AS5 with it, I should get an even better drop once I delid!
