Kent/Southern meet anyone?

Ok just been out for a blast on the roads posted above, as long as they don't get too busy during the day (going to check this Saturday) very high chance the meet will be there. Any pub recommendations?

Will get a date firmed then get an attendance list up with a finalised route.
 
Ive had a think about this. A few months ago a few of us went upto the Ace Cafe for a bit of a run. At the time i was thinking about a Burnham run too, but early in the morning.

So rather than find a pub, find a nice cafe/coffee shop

We all meet up at some location, go for a drive, head to burnham, find the cafe, have breakfast and coffee
 
Gotta be Katz not like the northern OCUK hands in pockets meets, lets liven it up, the car park is quite large and we could negotiate a food / drink / dance package.
 
Would people rather all go to an event or meet somewhere with good roads and a pub with good food? If we meet somewhere and go to an event (Katz) the only issue I see is surely people would want to drink, kinda negating the point of a motors meet?

Anyone apposed to doing a rather early meet or a later evening one? (When the weather is better ofc)
(Huge so people will notice and hopefully answer lol)

I would really like a meet with cars, a nice pub and some stunning roads to put a smile on my face tbh.
 
Definitely up for this. I think we need to decide whether we're going for a proper drive, in which case I think it'd have to be early morning or late at night, or whether we're just going to take a look at each others cars and have a meal, in which case we may as well meet during the day.

Location wise, I had a go on the roads posted suggested by Voxination and would be more than happy to do it there, but I think they'd be far too busy during the day.
 
Bump! Now bearing in mind there's plans for a Go Karting meet in the east, what's peoples thoughts on moving this further south and central? Am thinking near Winchester like last time?

I'd still be happy for an impromptu get together to drive around on some decent roads and stop off at the pub.

If there are enough of us from the East who fancy just going for a drive about, there's no reason not to go ahead with this one.

Just arrange a meet then, set a date/time/location and get to it. I've always been of the opinion that whilst the big fully organised meets are great, smaller ones are also really good. A fee years ago myself and Sam arranged a mini meet in about 2 hours, we had about 10 people turn up. :D

This weekend just gone myself and another local member met up and had a blast around some of the local roads, never met the guy before and was a good impromptu mini-mini meet. :)

One of the good things about doing small meets is you can arrange them for after work or just a couple hours, rather than a full day of driving, taking and eating.
