UEFA Champions League/Europa League 5/6/7 March *** Spoilers ***

So my posts are deleted as trolling, but wishing death upon the ref is allowed to stand, nice.

United would be mad to take him despite how good I think he is. He's short term. He would threaten to leave and give out indications he wasn't happy every 5 games. Ruining the stability and harmony of the side.

It's just the type of person needed to take over the job straight after fergie, whoever follows him is in for a very rough ride. Whatever else you say about the man his sheer force of will and determination has dragged them to a fair few of their title wins in the past decade.

The only thing the red card killed was United's tactics(although so did their goal) and the momentum, after that the game was exciting as Madrid might actually achieve something other than scoring own goals, game was a snorefest and United cruising through before.

That's the thing we didn't necessarily want an exciting game. It was that tense simply cruising through was going to be the best way for us to do it. When nani went real got excited and scored 2 quickly as they tore us apart.

Yeah but I saw a lot of neutrals saying 'killed the tie' as if it was exillirating before-hand, it made it much more exciting and was no way a given United would concede, it could've been a much more exciting finish if United had defended properly but just kind of collapsed/Madrid remembered how to play near the box

Search your posts in this thread and read them back to yourself.

And? I take pleasure in seeing Man U fail, controversy makes it sweeter. I'm no different to 99% of the football watching population. It seems to me others are perfectly allowed to troll away.

Bascially, trolling (Utd) = no. Death Threats = allowed

When I said kill the tie I meant as a competitive tie. One where we stood a chance of winning.

You were killing the tie with 11 men, Real didn't look to have a chance of winning :p.

I genuinely thought you'd hold on and thought there would be a wankfest for years about the heroics vs the dirty spaniards/turkish ref/uefalona

Exactly why we have a no troll rule. Behave and all will be fine.

Rise above it. It's not that difficult.

If I did that I wouldn't have got that guy perma'd that time by forcing him to reveal his alt account :D

Also while Newbie's stuff got removed, certain people on bait other fans missions (cm for a few months on every club bigger than his, jakeke on liverpool) never got touched, gets a tad annoying when you're trying to discuss and is satisfying to vent.

It gets a tad annoying you bringing this up in threads constantly. Email myself, Rotty or Gilly. This isn't the place.

Listen to Father Baz.

It did kill the tie because i think in fairness over the two legs the games were very even and Man U and Real looked like they were very evenly matched. If you then take one of those teams down to ten men with over a third of a football match it just immdeiately ruins that balance.

I have, pretty sure I've emailed both more than once and been told people can't be banned/have posts removed for posting irrational hatred but that just happened to newbie.

[I'm not sure if I read it on here but Dermot Gallagher, the spiffing ref analyst he is now said Arbeloa wasn't even hit in the ribs but the arm

Don't know why I came into this thread, knew it would be full of sulking Man U fans.

I wish I had some form of time machine device, that I could go back, and make the foul committed on a Man U player, and the Real Madrid player was sent off. Sir Alex would probably be praising the ref for saving his players lives.

Nani could have killed the player.... Come on!!!

Anyway I think we should move on. Create a new thread on this subject rather than fill this thread with rubbish.
