*** League of Legends ***

anyone else think LoL is a bit of a joke? got to 89 LP in bronze I, then 2 more wins giving me 5, and 4 LP respectively, which left me just shy of enough of promtion which is crazy initself - then to top it off just had 2 loses and down to 57 LP... i hate this game most times, just need to bring myself to quit

Depends if you are in a team or not - 2 more wins for our team tonight :) Lot of fun :)

That's because you were close to promotion, once you get to bronze/silver/gold/plat/diamond 1 after about 50 LP you start to gain a lot less, just to make sure you are ready to jump to the next tier.
 
First quadra kill today with Ashe. Looked like we were beat but swung it round in a 60 min game. Real good game.

Gz mate, always good to get a quadra, till you look and see the last guy for the penta is half way across the map with low HP :(

I had a game against Dylan and Allnamestaken just now.

They wiped mine and my mates arses :(

That reminds me, if anyone here has a team or a group of friends and want to play some scrims let me know, would be interested in getting some 5v5 premade practice in.
 
So I managed to get a game as Amumu last night....

Once I recovered from the shock of him not being banned, I settled back and was really surprised at how much fun he is to play.

I know he can turn games, but actually playing him is a real revelation once you manage a bandage or three :)

I'm actually starting to feel like I can make a small difference as a jungler now, which is refreshing on a personal level.
 
Yeah amumu is banned 99% of time - his ulti is jut too much of a game changer , especially where it combos with someone else's ulti eg katarina
 
Got my second pentakill last night with varus ^^. Can for sure see a nerf coming to quinn with her blind. It doesn't even have to hit you directly if it hits a minion near you it still blinds :S

I would probably, tis what lol is missing tbh. back when playing games like css etc you had certain clans / groups of people you would play against week in week out and rly helped build a solid community.

I've just started trying to get past my 5 games before i starting working way up the ladder.

first 2 games playing mord, literally unstoppable. second game i played i was taking on lee sin + kat with only 4 bars of health and coming out victor / alive.

Dont feed the mord. that is all.
 
Just as things were starting to look up - lost my first promotion game ;(

Forced into support with a suicidal Trist who ended up feeding the other teams Jungle AND ADC 4 kills each inside 10 mins.

I'm 2W/2L in promo series for Bronze 1 > Silver 5 and too scared to play the last game as I lost the previous promo series in the same way..
 
Anyone else think they should bring a system in which you state what is your strongest, second and third strongest positions are so could pick for me

Mid
Jungle
Support

Then when its matchmaking for ranked solo/duo games it trys to match people who all have different primary strength positions. you can obv change these so say if i wanted to try and get jungle i could swap jungle and mid round hoping to get a jungle game.

might stop argueing over positions / trolls

To clarify, its my' first promo game' of the three, my 9th attempt to get out of Bronze 4 and failed.
Another troll pick - someone picked Karma and then intentionally fed the other team 11 kills then AFK'd.

Im expecting a ban too, after this I afk'd also because - frankly - i've had enough.
This game and the community are completely toxic. It makes CS1.6 days look civil .

Regarding promotion, is there any reason why it cant match you with people of similar recent win/loss ratio?
I just checked the profile of my team mates in that last game and all of them had only 1 win in their last 10 games.
Completely pointless.
