SimCity V (2013) - screens/artwork and information

There was another update a while ago and haven't been able to connect to they're servers since.

The launcher connects, authenticates and you're able to launch the game, but once you're at the main menu you get a "cannot connect" message which asks you to "try again"... try what again? launching the game? Its not like pressing play tries to reconnect again. :mad:

yea I got booted when they updated the servers and now can't get back in

even if you get the loading screen it sits forever without any actual data exchange (i checked with netlimiter)

lol yeh it says march 7th but thats such a lie its not even funny! i already have the game 'pre-loaded' i created a 2nd origin account with a US vpn so that my gf can play the game. Now hopefully my UK one unlocks and we can start playing together

Mine arrived today from Tesco, surprised because they said it would arrive on sat, doesn't allow me to install it though untill midnight.

I can't help but feel all the moaning in the thread about the servers not working could have been fixed had people just waited for the staggered release.

my origin copy just let me launch through VPN after doing the preload, I turned off VPN as soon as the launcher worked and its now doing the updates but its still pig slow

Although it accepted my serial number, and tells me that the British City Set, together with the Heroes & Villains Sets are installed, it still reckons that the game is unreleased here in the U.K. and won't be available until 00:01 on March 8th 2013.

Never mind, tomorrow is another day!

I've preloaded from Origin, it downloaded in about a minute which was impressive!

ive been quite lucky, ive been playing on the US account now for a few hours

yesterday and today, but yes im having to change servers and start new games because of it atm, which is balls!

use a vpn when then restart origin and you can launch it, then close VPN and download the full game, then spend ages trying to get into it

i have origin version and even a VPN worked so should do for everyone now
