A dive in my eyes in when there is no contact at all... doing that or leaving your leg in place is gamesmanship. But then again if you're screaming at the lino for a corner when you know it's a goal kick then that's sort of the same. Meh foot kick soccer is stupid any way.

Bale waited for the contact and went down. He moved his leg towards the defender who was backing off. He knew his touch was too much and played for a penalty. Deserved yellow in my view and I don't think he dives that much to be fair to him.
