I'm actually supporting this due to my participation in NoFap which is helping me a lot. After 2 weeks of NoFap porn isn't desirable anymore.

Meh - not that bothered.
However, I believe the internet should be a free place for whatever. Though if you legislate for child abuse/exploitation etc... then it's just a part of the process that other parts that are considered morally/ethically dubious are addressed... like all things unfortunately.
This means your next fap will be amazing.

This can't be for real, if so Sweden and Holland won't be happy! What about the porn industry itself? There still are people out there who pay for it. And would it be extended to print media? Would page 3 then be banned? Nuts? It will be the iron pron curtain, you'll be able to buy CDs from some random guy in the pub (like the old days lol).
yes possibly true but I'm planning to aim for the 90 day challengemade it to 30 days before then lost.
Massive over reaction, the legislation says nothing of the sort unless you decide to read it with a particularly stupid interpretation.
This. There's even enough info in the obviously biased blog the OP linked to, that you can work this out. But just use the magic words "European Parliament" and people will believe any old **** that you make up.
SCOUR THE HEDGES!!!!

Direct quote from the legislation:
17. Calls on the EU and its Member States to take concrete action on its resolution of 16 September 1997 on discrimination against women in advertising, which called for a ban on all forms of pornography in the media and on the advertising of sex tourism
At the very least, all physical videos, films, magazines etc would be banned. It explicitly says "ban on all forms of pornography in the media" in the legislation.

The internet has irreversably corrupted parts of my brain. Thanks to a job a good few years back where people were surfing whatever they liked without restrictions, "Automatic Teller Machine" or "Asynchronous Transfer Mode" are not the first things I think of when I see that particular acronym.
