Deceided on a new case for my new build. Gonna go for a white case, and the storm Stryker seems to have the best reviews.

Is there anything else I should be looking at?

Does anyone have one? What do you think of it?

NZXT Switch 810 or Phantom 820 depending upon your taste/requirements.

I've got the 820 and I'm very pleased with performance and features.

Well I am looking at a case for a 3770k. Air cooler, minor overclock.

The case to support USB 3.0, hopefully fairly quiet and some control over fan speed and therefore noise. Also needs to support mb with crossfire gpu.

In terms of the cases recommended so far:

The 600t looks nice, but there seems tone ongoing issues with the reviews about the front header, USB connection and fan controller. Makes me nervous for £145.

The nzxt 820 seems amazing but my god the price! At £70 more than the Stryker what makes it worth it?

Ta for the help so far, I really appreciate it.

i love my bitfenix shinobi xl in white with the window.... !

plenty of room, clean, doesnt have a fan controller but, you can buy a bitfenix recon (also in white) that looks great.

The fractal seems to have heat issues, not something I think is a good combination with the Ivy CPU.

The Corasir 600T is therefore calling...

As it is more expensive than the stryker, what benefits does it have? How loud are the fans in this case?

Further edit. I have asked in the Cooling section about if a Bitfenix survivor with fan controller and extra fans would do the job. Would be nice to have a pc that is easy to move rooms as well as looking nice and keeping quiet.

Looks better :) The front fan is a slim 200mm I believe, so that restricts your options a little if you want something with more airflow. Although you will be all right with a standard gaming rig. Hell my P280 doesn't even have a front fan and my temps are great (27 case temp / 55C cpu temp right now at 4.4GHz transcoding for two hours).

Both are good cases, and really, it's up to taste.

You have to remember the restrictions of a m-itx platform. If that's OK for you, then why not. You can find some good m-itx mobos these days.

I have to admit, I have the phantom with a side panel and I love it to bits

a few things i would change but nothing serious at all, great airflow, water cooling space and it looks incredible!

I also love the little bitfenix
l prodigy, but it is the complete other end of the scale compared to the big cases such as the 820

there are obviously cases with more room for expansion that the phantom, but its a choice between having a sexy case and having a case that does the job and looks incredible doing it haha

Further thoughts.

The survivor is an atx case. Small but is just would would work but it would be a tight case. If I stick to a budget of £150 I could get a case, fan controller and 2 additional fans.

The phantom 630 includes the fan controller so it is just the noise of the fans I would have to look at. Lighting system doesn't interest me. £155 ish in total.

The storm Stryker only seems to have good reviews. Very nice fan controller and looks good, but isn't stunning. I just can't find any negative points. £135 in total.

The 600t is a mixed bag. It is the best looking case, I can't argue that. Based on that alone it is an instant purchase. Then there is the issues. Alleged problems with the fan controller breaking means I would have to look at something there for an extra £30. The fans are also apparently noisy, which would mean 3 news fans too. Then theres the creaking sides. And the filters which people say make it noisier too! So it's probably £180 for the case in total once modified.
