Hi guys, i'm looking to build a gaming pc, only problem is, I have no idea of what is good and bad. All I know is I like intel cpu and nvidia gpu.
I have a budget about £1000.

What pc would you build if you had a £1000 budget? (intel and nvidia ;))

yeh just the tower.
Can you really justify an AMD? :P
All reviews i've read point at nvidea. Why does everyone on this site like AMD? :P
So, yeh sure go for it :)

So, yeh sure go for it :)

This generation of graphics cards, with the latest drivers have high performance for the cost in comparison to a similar performance nvidia card and also have free games as an extra benefit that can be sold on if unwanted.

Ok, I think you've all convinced me :P
I'll take your second build. It's all compatible and well balanced yeh? With enough fans to keep it cool and power supply is good enough?
Although i'm fairly sure it will be. I'm just double checking before i go ahead and splash the cash :)

AH ok i've got ya.
But i'm confused with RJC's 3rd basket...
Power supply has changed. I was gonna buy your 2nd basket.
Is that what I would need if I wanted the 2 GPU's or is that actually needed for one GPU instead of the power supply you had in the 2nd basket.
If that makes sense :P

In other words, is youre second basket good to go ahead and buy and is all compatible with each other?

To be honest the the power supply in the second basket could probably run 2 GPUs if they are not overclocked that much but the 850W is better if you do not want to risk it. You probably don't even need a 750W Power supply to run a single GPU but it makes it more future proof.
And yes his second basket is all compatible with each other. He wouldn't spec you a PC that wasn't :)

Awesome. Didn't want to come across skeptical or anything, just wanted to make sure nothing was overlooked before i went ahead and made the purchase. For my own piece of mind :D
Thanks a lot for the help folks, much appreciated :)

Thank you very much for this help RJC.
One final question before I go ahead and buy it all...
The gfx card... is it full HD? it says HDCP capable, but i've no clue what that is? :P
