When you say locking/freezing up do you mean that when you boot up the camera it just stays on the video icon. I had that same problem during paintball.

That's the one, after setting the default startup as photo it seemed to work.

After getting the faulty one exchanged the new one has none of the previous symptoms. So I highly recommend exchanging dodgy ones as it seems on mine it had catalogue of faults/errors.

Ahh thanks for the heads up. Did you contact gopro directly or the retailer you got it from. I purchased mine from Evans cycles so im not sure if they will see it as a liable excuse.

I initially spoke to Gopro concerning the faulty remote but as I mentioned the other problems customer services recommended I take it back to retailer as they would take couple of weeks to turnaround. The lock up thing is a known glitch due to the dodgy firmware Gopro rushed out in December 2012 after people moaned about other faults on launch. I think there is a new update coming soon this month so fingers crossed. I think if you start to develop actually hardware problems then take it back, I had faulty battery and remote.

I've been wanting to get my monitor up and off my desk for years and now I can finally do it. Couldn't resist it at £8.99 inc postage.

Seems like a sturdy enough bit of kit.

Next week I'll be getting a 5 metre strip of 5050 RGB leds which I'll chop down and stick to the back of the monitor.

Cheers Im happy with it. Going to tart her up a bit, ned a new front and rear bumper so im going to find a sxi/sri bumpr with the fog lights in it and get that as a replacement and get a new foglight switch.

How much are bumpers going for these days? Mine needs a new rear one (cracked it along the top after a reversed into something ) and could probably use a new front one too as there are scuffs on the front caused by the previous owner. Last time I looked though, it wasn't cheap even before getting them sprayed.
