Anyone know where to find them these days? I've seen the Alpenfohn on OcUK but not much elsewhere.

I seem to be plagued by graphics card fan failures lately so thinking a decent slot cooler would be a good back up; they used to be fairly common a few years back but are kind of rare now.

Can get hold of the usual Lian Li ones and a couple of fan brackets but any suggestions would be great.

These spot coolers seem quite popular amongst forum users at the moment, seen them mentioned a lot, good for SLI/crossfire setups especially, but if you have bad airflow in your case could help too.

I wonder if this would help to bring down temps on my GPU? I've never used a cooler like this before? I using a GTX 680 ATM

I don't know, i've seen it used in many systems for routing airflow so if you aren't getting enough cool air to your card, it might help, only way is to try really :) if you have bad airflow in your case it might be worth sorting that out, a free solution if you are getting bad temps.

Assuming you have 3x 90mm fans on your GPU that little spot fan doesn't have a chance. You need more cool air to your GPU intake fans.
