SimCity V (2013) - screens/artwork and information

you go to region view, and pick who to sell/buy it to.

But I don't see how, if I select one of the nearby cities I just have the option to buy. If I select the other (the one the advisor is telling me to sell to) then it simply says they have no power to sell.

I'm not adverse to reading manuals, but that doesn't seem to help me.

Ocuk #6 going good

Seriously though, these cities are way too small. I've been playing and get the cry for "More workers needed" and there is no space!!!!

Wish they were at least twice the size - and the most annoying is when you place down a building that can expand.. and then cannot expand because of a building next to it argh!

I have only sold things via trade port, so not 100% sure how the power, sewage etc works.

Maybe you can only buy, so you will need someone to buy it off you.

if you are playing solo, just set up a casino town and buy all your power lol.

Right, I dunno if this is true so if somebody could clarify for me that'd be awesome. I'm in a region with some friends, and thanks to the Electronic market I now find myself with around 50mill, and with all the tools I need to build an Arcology.

But... I've tried sending resources out to it, and it's being very intermittent. I don't know if this question has been answered already, but is this to do with EA's servers? Is the support for regional game play terrible atm, or is it something I'm doing? Any help would be appreciated!

Another Server Update:

I'll keep this short since almost everyone who cares is busy building cities and making friends in SimCity.

Maxis continues to make huge progress in addressing the lag and server-capacity issues we experienced at launch. We've improved our server response time by 40x, we've doubled the number of players in the game at the same time and reduced server down times.

The situation is good, but not good enough. And since my boss is one of the negatively affected (!) - we're still driving hard to get everyone online, playing together, and no hitches.

Tens of thousands of new players are logging in every day. For that support - that commitment from our fans -- we are deeply grateful. More than anything, we know that information is important to our players. Our Twitter chat today made that especially clear, and I want to say thank you sharing your ideas, your issues and for being, well, nicer than I thought you would be, given everything you've been through. Thank you.

The new servers we rolled out have a new faster set up. We are now dedicated to updating our original servers so that those of you who have been playing these past few days can get the benefits on servers where your cities are played. To do this, we will have to take the original servers down one by one to upgrade them. The improvements will be worth the downtime, and thanks for hanging with us as we do this. We'll also be adding more tonight as well. We'll be sending out detailed info shortly through our community forums and launcher.

That's it for today. We'll keep you updated on what's to come. Expect the first of our server upgrades to start this evening.

I think the game means that you should post in the region chat and say that you got power to sell :p

My Indian purchase finally came good this morning, so I'm installing now. Or rather I'm sitting looking at "Processing Large File...please wait".

Garbage/recycling tips:

1) If you don't need plastic, do not build high schools; nobody seems to want to recycle, so you can incinerate everything which is more space efficient (recycling centres are huge)

2) If you have an already existing large build up of uncollected recycling, destroy the building and the rubbish will go with it! If the natural demand exists for the wealth and density that was there previously, within a day or so it'll rebuild. Don't go crazy with this one, as your tax base will reduce during the rebuild period.

Looks like I also need a new OCUK server to play on since EU west 6 is down... I could start one for us all if there is not one up yet?
