My iMac. What happens to my iLife when I restore

I have downloaded Mountain Lion and I intend of running a fresh install of it. So I am going to stick the installer on an SD card and do that. However I bought this iMac, What will happen to my iLife 11. Do I have to purchase it to install it? There was no software in the iMac box. (2011 edition)

When you first signed into the Mac App Store, you will have had to connect those copies of iLife to your Mac, so you'll be able to restore them. Check the Mac App Store now and they should be listed under your purchases.

Huh just noticed I posted this in hardware instead of software! Whoops!

Also after I did a fresh install of mountain Lion anyone tell me why in the app store it says that the applications I purchased

It will pick up your apps stored on any other drives/partitions that spotlight is indexing regardless if they're in your Applications folder or not.

aaah so the ones I've backed up on my drobo are being seeing as installed because I guess they technically are due to how a mac stores its applications. Interesting.
