SimCity V (2013) - screens/artwork and information

SimCity Server Issues help !!

ive recently baught simcity but im experiencing some server issues, theres a waiting time of 20 minutes if a server is busy, is this just a genereal problem or is this a problem on my end ????
 
are they planning to sort that issue out as well because its a really stupid idea to make a save game only playable on a certain server and not flexible !!
 
Damn this game is addictive .... been playing all weekend :D

Didn't have too many server issues apart from the first day or so - good that they added more! Would definitely like to see them add cheetah speed though, would reduce the time waiting for density increase etc.

Managed to get up to around 200K population in one of my cities, but then started playing another when that server went down.

Only just starting to play with the new features like mining / drilling / processor manufacturing, trying to hit the target now so I can get an electronics factory :p

Trying to reduce ground pollution by placing lots of trees in those areas but the trees keep disappearing which is strange !

Think you're right about the RCI indicators, I noticed in my first city they're always asking for industrial zones yet I have zero unemployment and stuff closes due to lack of workers, so no point giving them any more for now.
 
Glad I got this via Origin India at the weekend - girlfriend logged in for a 'quick go' last night and was playing til after midnight.

feel free to add me - Bathalot - although won't join any regions until I get my game back :(
 
I was excited and was going to get this. then i read a few reviews, which didn't paint a good picture. Now there's lots of issues, and i believe, at the time of writing, they've shut the servers until resolved.

As above, your save game on one server really is a poor effort.

Very disappointed.
 
My morals cracked around 15:00 yesterday and I ended up trading a few steam gifts with a friend in exchange for him buying it me. I just couldn't justify giving a company I despise as much as EA money i've earned. I know, I know, massive hypocrite and my logic doesn't even make sense blah blah. In my head, it was justified :P

Thankfully though I've had zero issues so far and i'm really enjoying the game. The nostalgia was thick and frequent! Now sitting at work thinking about plotting new grids... 6 more hours to go...

First day had issues with servers , but been fine all weekend and today for me :)

I dont know... its just there is the demand there for industry after putting it down you will see resi zone start going up more... I think the balance is right.

I'm having a great time with this game so far, when you can actually get on a server.

What's really annoying me, is that if I have 30 mins to kill, and I want a quick game, with the server issues it takes about 15 minutes of faffing about to actually get in, so after I've loaded, I have to stop.

I wish I could just launch the game and play.....but alas EA can't make it that easy!
 
Does the Origin India store trick still work? If so would anyone mind sending me the details in trust or pointing me towards directions? TIA. :)
 
Launch VPNoneclick select indian server.
Launch origin client.
Buy game (took a couple of attempts for me).
Then i closed oneclick and origin. Relaunch origin and download. Thats what i did.
