-No money to buy gfx cards so no interest in news
-Tech news website gets desperate, needs a big story

From the looks of that site in the OP, it looks like it is some AMD's fanboy site. I wouldn't take anything from that site as truth.

End of the year, but not 300 / 400, it will be more like 350 / 450, unless they think; given the enormous price of Titan means the can jack the price up some more.

I'll wait for the MSI 8970 OC version to be on offer at ocuk for £299 with free games, then i will make my purchase. :)
 
Same I won't buy on release as AMD always drop prices within a few months, they'll do the same again to be competitive against NVidia as they won't lower prices unfortunately.
