i know for certain i have a poor credit history and i'd fail any kind of check for anything of value. that doesn't bother me in the slightest.

but i'm stuck without internet at the moment and would like to get the 10GB/£15 month 3G internet only deal (already have a three dongle). it's a 1 month rolling contract but i see on the three website, if i pop that in the basket it says they will do a credit check first? do they really carry this out for a measly one month contract? i suppose i could just suck it and see but i'd thought i'd ask if anybody knows first.

thanks. :)

Why bother with a rolling when 15 quid PAYG gets you 300 mins 3000 texts & Unlimited data.
Nice & easy to dispose of the non traceable SIM card & get another for us International Spys an all. :D

Tell anybody the above & I'll have to come round & stab you with my umbrella. :mad:

If it says it on their site, then i'd imagine they would.

yeah i know it seems like a stupid question as it's made pretty clear. i guess i was just being overly optimistic thinking it's only really supposed to there for longer contract/phone deals. :o

i guess i'll have to stump up the £25 for 7GB PAYG topup. :eek:

Because three have imei based blocking against using phone sims in dongles.

i need it for internet access on my pc. i'm guessing tethering isn't allowed plus i don't have a 3G phone.

Just use a pay as you go dongle from 3.

well dur. it's a lot more expensive though. 3GB topups are £15 from three (even though amazon sell the 3GB pre-loaded sims for £11 :rolleyes: ) or the 7GB/25 i mentioned above)

I have probably the worst credit history in the world. It's really really really bad but to my surprise I was able to take out a three rolling contract.

May be worth a try;

hmmn, i might give it a bash then. it's not like a failed check is going to make things worse than they already are. :D

thanks for the replies everyone. :)

Mobile contract lower boundaries for credit checks are really low for the record, the theory being low outgoings are fairly easy to pay and people are too attached to their phones these days to contemplate being without one.

In my experience Three are the easiest company to get contracts with if you have bad credit. I know of people who've been turned down by all the phone companies but not had a problem getting a contract with Three.
