London Euston to Heathrow

Fastest way imo would be to walk to Euston Square, get Circle line to Paddington, then Heathrow Express. Costs a fair bit though.

Depends on which terminal. Heathrow Express is less useful for T4 and there's a decent amount of walking at Paddington. I'd probably either take Victoria to Green Park and Picadilly from there, or walk to King's Cross and Picadilly all the way.

This.

It will be T5 I need to go to. I plan to stay in London for one night before going to Heathrow the following morning.

Can anyone recommend a suitable cheap hotel? I'm thinking easyHotel at Paddington?

The best compromise between speed and cost is Tube to Paddington and then Heathrow Connect, not Express, to Heathrow.

Heathrow Connect uses the same route as Heathrow Express but also stops at several other stations on the way. It takes 10 minutes longer than Heathrow Express but is considerably cheaper.

Thanks for the suggestion but I'm looking for something much cheaper. easyHotel is £35/night.

Any other suggestions?

There are some fairly cheap places around Earls Court. That would place you on the Picadilly line for Heathrow.
