I recently watched a computer build video in which the demonstrator used (and encouraged the use of) a magnetic tipped screwdriver. However, I'd have thought that this wouldn't be the healthiest thing to do for your computer build considering Faraday's Law of EM Induction and related phenomena in electromagnetism.
Perhaps the magnetic field strength of the tip is so small that it can barely induce any current in your components during the build process? Still, doesn't seem like the greatest idea to me.
Anyway I ask because the actual concept behind using one is good considering how convenient it makes things (no need for 3 or 4 arms!), however I want to make sure it has no repercussions before purchasing one.
Cheers.
P.S: Sorry if this is in wrong section of forum.
