how have you found IF Palacio? still looking to get him in 4231 but not sure on position cf or cam! Balotelli striker
 
Im just surprised though, never seen anyone concede that many goals, or that many scored in a match before.

Someone quit on me in the final of the gold cup before as I was winning 5-0, then sent me a message saying I was ****, sent him the stats and said rematch if im that **** to which he said he was only joking, apologised and asked how I managed to get my team, also a friend request, are these people on glue or something :rolleyes:

Seriously man, all I wanted tonight was a good game of fifa before bed, had 3 games, and all 3 have quit on me, are you kidding man, I used to like it when people cared about coins and DNF and never quit, now thats all I seem to get :(

Ahh thats the worst kind, throw in x y & z and hope for the best! Its like blindfold chilli making...won't be doing that again in a hurry!! :D

yeah exactly, wasnt if he got them in packs and put them in, they were all in the right formation so bought them, or converted them at least, had a few decent players where he could have made a half decent team with 100 chemistry!!
 
Had a horrible game earlier, I conceded 4 but managed to score 6, all goals were terrible as well! He was winning 4-2 up until the 89th minute when I managed to make it 4-3, then he was messing about at the kick off and I ran up the pitch and scored to make it 4-4 and took us into ET.

The game felt so bad, sluggish ball yet again, every time I tapped for a short pass the ball would inexplicably miss out the first player as if I was holding it for a longer pass. Players weren't locking onto the ball either, the pass would arrive to them and instead of it connecting with their feet they were just running in a circle around it, so frustrating.
 
I just seem to find as soon as I win a tourney, the next first round match is ridiculously hard, prob just down to my luck or a mental thing now I think it, but that first match after a Tourney win is always hell!

Someone before mentioned that not all tournament players are at the same point. Like you could be in the semi but for the other guy it's the final, I've had some weird rage messages before which would sort of point to this, not sure if it's true though.

One thing I've noticed lately is the Gold Cup has become infested with sweaty players/teams, I used to play the cup instead of Division 1 or the highest paying cup at the time, purely because the opposing teams were more varied and the players weren't trying the same crap every game. Now it's just a boring cheese fest where I play a team with Mirallas/Remy/Walcott every match. :p

Feel your pain. I won the cup last night with all 4 games having the opposition quitting.

1) quits at 4-1 after being 1-0 up
2) quits at 2-1 after being 1-0 up and after Aguero outmuscled Dede to score :D
3) quits in the 69th minute after I take a 2-1 lead and I start passing the ball about just like he did at 1-0
4) quits after 4-0 in the final

Wouldn't mind but I don't really need the coins anymore and was just playing for fun :D

I need some coins if you have any spare ;).
I understand why people quit as this is one of the most frustrating games I've ever played, but I grin, swear a lot and bear it, even when 6-1 down. Surely there should be more reason/incentives for players not to quit.

Ultimate team momentum swings so much that you can quite easily be banging your head against a wall getting nowhere and suddenly their defenders trip each other up and the goalkeeper starts licking the goal posts and you've got yourself a couple of goals. I don't quit ever for that reason. No end of times I've been gifted a way back in and then won after being handicapped for a while :).

You should be locked out of UT for the amount of time it would have taken to complete the match. :D

I love it some times. My striker was through on goal into the area and was then tripped up by a defender close to the penalty spot. Both players down, the GK comes out but trips over my player on the ground. Two seconds later my player gets up and I tap it in the open goal. I can only imagine what the other player was shouting :D.
