Please spec me a: Obdii reader

Bought the same for a e46 330d, totally useless, connected ok but displayed nothing.
I have an HTC though and this could be the issue as the app doesn't like HTC much :(

Same adaptor and app worked fine on my HTC Desire when connected to both a Skoda and Fiat. I only used it for reading codes though.

If you read the comments on the App Store it's clear that a great number of people have found this very useful - it appears that you are one of them.
Could be just an HTC/BMW thing ?

I finally got this delivered today and plugged in at lunchtime to my MK3 Mondeo (52 plate)

Seems everything is working fine despite what google says about the ford models not being all compatible.

Very cheap and then I got Torque Pro. Now I want a tablet instead of my Nexus 4 to read it all hahaha

And if they're really cheap, they'll end up messing up someone's car.

If you have a Nexus, look for Bluetooth Adapters that work with Torque (It's a code reading App on Android)

Im sorry, but what kind of nonsense is this? Clearly I've been lucky with my £10 cable, as it works with the professional VCDS software to the extent I need it to

Show me a car that's been damaged by an OBD2 reader, the worst they can do is not read anything.
