Hi all

My partner just gone into slow labour with our first child.
I'm absolutely pooing myself and no this isn't a quick run to the internetz post we've been here 6 hour, I'm getting cabin fever.
But anyway I feel like a spare part

I didn't think it was as bad as I had imagined it would be, the wife watched loads of one born every minute and some of the women on there, jeez.

My wife was immense she handled it like a champ and only needed paracetamol.

1) good luck

2) don't be playing with your phone, it'll **** her right off

3) don't go down the business end, there's lots of bulging, quite a few men can't take it

4) Keep talking to her, try and make her laugh and keep her topped up with food and drink, it'll make it happen faster!

Quick question, will you be there at the birth? As in right there in the room? When i evenutally have kids i'm not sure if i want to see my poor gf screaming and shouting like she's out of The Exorcist
