Coca Cola to re introduce Vanilla Coke to the UK

I laugh when I hear people say the "zero sugar" and "diet" versions are better for you, they're much much worse.

Ah yes - this old Chestnut.
Personally I don't wear the foil hat, so find a lot of the claims that diet drinks are worse for you as utter tosh.
However you cannot argue against 139 calories and 39g of sugar which you find in a can of "regular diabetes".

It has nothing to do with wearing a foil hat, but it's an entirely new level of stupid if you believe something isn't bad for you just because it has the word "diet" on it, rather than reading what crap they put in it to compensate for the low calories and sugar.

As part of a good diet, it won't do you any harm. I drink maybe 1 330ml can of coke a week, if that. I'll be damned if I'll sully the experience with diet rubbish :D

The things they put into diets drinks go through major testing before the public is allowed to actually consume them.
I don't just see the word "diet" or "zero" and immediately assume they are better for you. However they are the difference between drinking stupid amounts of sugar in a single 330ml can or not.

As for saying "the crap they put in diet" stop and look at the base drink you are talking about.
Speak to any dietician and they will tell you how Cola contains various chemical signatures and make-up that appears absolutely nowhere else in the natural world.

I won't "blindy" continue to drink diet or zero sugar drinks, I'll continue to consume them with my eyes open.
My eyes open to the fact that I'm drinking something which has passed numerous safety tests and won't add to the loss of limbs through diabetes.

This is indeed great news, love 'nilla coke.
Even quite liked the diet coke with lime in (for a while).
Cherry coke rules too.

That said, i hardly ever consume fizzy drinks............but vanilla coke? Hmmmmmmmmmm...welcome back....we've missed you! :)
