Coca Cola to re introduce Vanilla Coke to the UK

I wish Cadbury would wake up and bring back the Spira.

This, 1000x this.

Didn't it fail immensely last time?

Well it was the fastest selling new Coke brand in history but I think sales dropped off after a few years, it was the lowest selling variety of coke in 2005 (behind regular/diet/cherry) and so they decided to axe it in 2006 in order to bring in Zero without increasing the amount of varieties.

And to think that a cousin of mine, who is a marketing executive at Coca Cola, could have had a hand in this...

Yes I know, capitalist pig and everything. It's in that part of the family. You should see his Paris condo. And his girlfriend.

Though they should have renamed it

Dunno why, besides Coke and Diet Coke any other variation of Coke just seems to die off within a few months.

lack of sales, most people buy new varieties to try out of curiosity, but dont go back

myself, I'm a sucker for things with NEW or LIMITED EDITION on the packaging......

Im just happy they introduced Cherry Coke Zero... tastes much the same as the normal so i can now stop drinking tons of sugar a day.

Thanks Cocacola!

Vanilla Coke is still available in Australia:) I've tried some of the US version (import) and imo it's not as nice as the Aussie one, but not far off. Haven't tried the UK one but I'm happy it's coming back.

It's been in our local Morrisons for about a week now, only available in 1.5l bottles though!

Which one is that?
