Where to buy a new budget suit

Hi,

I need to buy a suit. I need it just for job interviews, so I'm not looking for premium quality here...

To be honest with you, I have to say that last time I bought one here in the UK, the only ones that had a cut I liked was Primark's. I have a wide back and a slim/athletic body, so I'm looking for a slim fit.

I haven't tried Next because I didn't like any of the suits they had, btw.

I got an decent one from debenhams own brand range.. was far better quality than the next and burtons equivalents

Got mine at ASDA ('George') just a cheap jacket/blazer thing, black trousers and shoes, shirt and tie. Can't remember how much it cost but I bought the cheapest they had.

Thanks all. I was thinking in somethin in the range of 40-100 pounds.

I like this one, for example: http://www.next.co.uk/g38312s1#829503g38 and being machine washable is a huge plus, I think that paying dry cleaning for a cheap suit is a nonsense...

This. The cheapest should be pretty close to your budget, or even in it. They'll be better made than a Next one, and less likely to go out of fashion, since they're pretty neutral in first place.

I picked up a light grey two button suit slim fit from next. . excellent fot and great feel to the fabric. Cost : £65 for jacket and trousers in the half price sale.

If you live near chesire oaks or a similar designer outlet you will do well, plenty of stand alone suit shops and armani etc. Next there is a clearance place with normally 50% off suits.

I get my daily work suits from River Island - fairly robust and have nice slim fit. Usually can get trousers and jacket for under £80
