i have to say, if that happened to me i would never buy an EA game again, you lost over £100 there in one go.

i myself in fact have stopped buying fifa at launch, i wait for the better deals to pop up weeks/months later, that is how much i hate EA, i cannot bear to pay more than £30 for any of their games.

only game i buy is fifa for my football fix, no longer buy need for speed, fight night or any other game they make. i buy UFC instead now and other racing games (plenty of good ones).

i think i spent £25 on fifa 13 iirc. if PES was better i would buy that instead, but it isn't so i'm stuck on that front. i'm not going to buy an even worse game than fifa, that would just be madness, it's terrible enough as it is. fifa 11 was the best.

Same, I got Fifa 13 Ultimate for much less than retail. EA just don't care and if PES was better, then I would have that. Shame EA are the ones who have Fifa...

Need for Speed went down the ******* after Most Wanted...

I will admit, I play BF3 but with no add-ons and Mass Effect 1,2,3 as the Mass Effect were bought for me...Dragon Age 2 was pure **** because EA got there tainted grubby greedy shovel hands on it and broke it...

I have a mate who lost a 98 Messi with the AH flopping and EA's response was 'you sell your player cards using the in-game auction feature at your own risk'. He raged as I would have and sent them his Fifa 13 disc in pieces and said he never wants to buy another game from them again.

When it happened I felt ill...but, nothing I could do and awhile later I got IF Dzagoev and I've had an IF Reus that went for about 200K as I set it for sale at 3am and start price of 150 :D
 
Trying to build a team around Sneijder and Huntelaar but HOLY COW! The price of Buttner is INSANE! 40+K for a SILVER LB!!

Ideas who else I can use in a mainly Netherlands squad?

So, I need a bench and another CB and RB, but I don't mind blending with another nation if it makes my squad stronger? I know Seedorf is slow as, but it's Seedorf!

EDIT: I think I could use Baines as LB and maybe an Englishman LM and LCM who plays in same league as Strootman?

EDIT2: Gone for Schmelzer at LB, going to grab Mertezacker (sp?) to play next him, thus linking either Ron Vlaar or Heitinga. Got Elia playing LM who is in same league as Schmelzer and is also from Holland, might even try grabbing a German CM, but they still need to link to Sneijder, Elia and Strootman or Seedorf...

Yeah, I waited until it was in the £20s. Only just bought it a few weeks ago. I really suck at this game though. Had to restart my FUT team. Ran out of coins and contracts.

It gets better, everytime I build up a few thousand I have to waste it on contracts and healing. Then I'm back to a few hundred coins. Nearly every team I come up against runs so much faster than my players.

Wish I could transfer coins from the main menu account to the FUT section.

Jaffa, you're doing Netherlands wrong. You want Willems at left back because he's a beast, van Aanholt has 4 more pace but he's terrible so don't bother, and put Viergever next to him with Kalas as the other CB, or if you want a Dutch RCB just go with Dingsdag.

Strootman is epic, don't write him off without using him and you definitely want Leroy Fer in there.

Is there any good easy legit ways to build up cash quickly? it always feels hard when my game play possession is always 49 - 50% that matches the other team. That and the fact I'm always getting outrun and the ball taken as well as a lot of leg injuries.

Doesn't matter which keeper as all the gold Dutch ones are alright, personally I'd use Viergever and Heitinga and put Dingsdag on the bench. Don't even bother with Vlaar, he's pathetic this year.

first of all you need to buy a lot of "shiny" managers, bronze, silver and gold ones.

shiny managers increase contracts automatically, for example when i add a gold 18 contract card to my players, they actually get 24 contracts. so i basically get an additional 30% of contracts for free because of the amount of shiny managers i have in my club. this helps me save coins by not having to buy contract cards as regularly.



second of all get one decent team and a fitness team full of 300 coin max non shiny players, or 600-750 (whatever the discard value is plus 50 coins) coin max shiny players.

use contracts on the decent team when they run out. when the contracts run out on the fitness team, simply discard the player for the value you bought them for and then buy another one. basically this gets you "free" contracts.

rotate the teams every match so you never have to waste coins on fitness cards.

that is all, keep doing the above and the coins should start to rack up.

command and conquer was a hard pill to swallow when EA ruined it, now they are doing the same to fifa, it's so sad they have such a huge monopoly. nobody can really compete with them. the amount of money they make of FIFA alone is ridiculous, it was in the top 5 selling media of 2012 (this includes blu rays and music media too) only beaten by call of duty.

worldwide their turnover could easily be £1 billion for fifa alone, especially when you take money spent on packs into consideration.

take rob86 for instance he could have easily spent £500 on packs, i'm pretty sure KSI must have spent at least a few £K on packs in order to get the full TOTY team.

I said a while back that his NIF is the best LB/LWB in La Liga. He hasn't got such a bad positioning trait like last year when he was everywhere except where he should be. He's fast enough to beat most players and has one of the best crosses in the game. I've had Albas NIF IF and SIF and none are as good as his NIF although to be fair I have nothing negative to say about Alba just except he is a little lightweight.
