I said a while back that his NIF is the best LB/LWB in La Liga. He hasn't got such a bad positioning trait like last year when he was everywhere except where he should be. He's fast enough to beat most players and has one of the best crosses in the game. I've had Albas NIF IF and SIF and none are as good as his NIF although to be fair I have nothing negative to say about Alba just except he is a little lightweight.

Can anyone offer any advice on whether Marcelo is worth 25k more than jordi for a lwb please?

Agreed. Tried both Alba and Marcelo in my BBVA team and Marcelo feels a little bit better. 25k isn't much of a premium to have the best in slot LB for Brazil/La Liga team when you consider the premium for Sergio Ramos in the same league.

Played against a mental Man City/Brazil hybrid with TOTY Casillas as keeper last night, guy had players like Thiago Silva, Miacon, Toure, Neymar and some others. He won 4-0 and was using 3-4-2-1 I held out all the 1st half at 0-0 with my Spanish 'Gung-Ho' team only to pull my defenders out of position mid 2nd half and then it was downhill...

Sounds like you were playing Marcelo at LWB, so 2 losses for a 5 back team is nice news to see

Why was Pedro battering chemistry btw? If Your LCB & LCM are both La Liga players, Pedro would be on 9 chem as a LM....

Hardly! My team is just the Zenit side minus Hulk because I don't like him. Got a few Russian silvers to pad the squad out and that's it. The only amazeballs team I've had was some Serie A thing a few months ago with Chiellini and Ogbonna at the back, since then I've just been using Eredivisie and RPL squads.

I'm sure Andy, Stewy and co will have ridiculous records yet again this year.

He's a pretty special one though, 5* skills, very very good player, only a tad small & not very strong, brasilvers can hit silly money
