:p makes me a little mad when people on here say they drink better beer then post a picture of some european fizzy stuff.

American IPA can not be beaten.

I keep posting pictures of my beer telling everyone that I drink better beer than them, and I do because I drink American beers. I laugh when people who think they know about beer claim American beer is terrible, when they clearly know nothing out of Miller/Budweiser.

This is what I was surprised when I went to America and Australia. They have a fantastic small scale beer brewing market.

You may be the guy that told me about Stone then! Had a Ruination in bottle and draft two weeks ago, was amazing.

Not really small. America have always been at the forefront of brewing but they are often silenced by the major players. However, loads of American stuff is now available over here. Also, they've made a lot of UK breweries stand up and make some great beers in their style. If you want, I can give you some recommendations.

If you read about Stone, and it was on here then it was certainly me. I'm stupidly obsessed with Stone (Flying Dog as well - I met the headbrewer a few months ago and turned a little bit daft).

Anyway, cheers!

I met the headbrewer of Sierra, he was in my local checking out the sellers of his stuff, cool guy.

I'm open to recommendations! If you come across Twin Peaks (Thornbridge/Sierra Nevada collaboration) or any Golden Road IPA in UK let me know. Had Golden Road - Point the Way in LA, one of the best I've had ever!

Nothing wrong with my beer Ahleckz :D

So I went to the office on Thursday and turns out I had to stay overnight. Great. During my overnight, I bought a lot of Penderyn for myself and my clients. Really an excellent whisky that I am sure I will have a few more run-ins with in the near future:

When I got home last night, I found that my Osram Nightbreakers had arrived (H1 mains, H7 dips and 501 sides) and I'm currently working up the sobriety to fit them. Oh, and for this rain to stop.
