Do you find this morally wrong?

I agree archeaology should be banned. Things were done for a reason we shouldn't be digging anything up, especially graves of children.

This sickens me.

Yes, I do find the DM morally wrong.

Especially when they write this:

"Enamelled bird was was found in a child's grave in Cirencester two years ago - and is is only of only eight known in the Roman Empire"

DAILY MAIL said:
They believe the expensive gift was placed in the grave by loving parents hoping it would ease their daughter's transition into the 'next world'.

You'd of hope that after well over 1000 years she'd be in heaven by now...

If I was that 2 year old girl I wouldn't have minded my gift being shared with the world well over 1000 years after my death.

Daily Mail and Archaeologists... Only things they're good for is digging the dirt on people.

Grave robbing is an English Tradition just like invading other countrys & kicking off. Back in the day they called it Discovering the Pharaohs secrets or the Holy War but these days it's just called Grave robbing & football hooliganism. :D

Doesn't bother me in the slightest. if it was more recent then sure i'd say it's wrong, but it's what how old? 1500 - 2000 years.

I wouldn't care what anyone does to my grave in the year 4000, it's going to get dug up or destroyed at some stage wether that be in 2000, 20000 or 2000000 years.

In some ways it'd be nice to think that something i've owned survives and is on display in the year 4000.

When it's done so in the name of discovery and understanding is fine, i'd prefer them to put it back in after documenting what they find but the sponsors probably want it in a museum somewhere.

Grave Robbing specifically just to loot the coffin is wrong.

Rummaging through a freshly covered over grave in the municipal cemetery in the hope of finding a few gold fillings is wrong. An archaeological dig with an aim to better understand the past is quite different surely.

I fully support this sentiment.

Burying belongings to start with seems more ridiculous to me than digging them up again, although I understand the sentiment in a lot of cases to a degree.

Pretty much this.
