SimCity V (2013) - screens/artwork and information

Town died last night on the Antarctica server, just couldn't keep up with the low income and the Recycling factorys not delivering the plastic to my processing factories half the time when they were right next to each other.

Does anyone want to start or have an existing Region? we could all specialize in certain things like sewage, water, power then share them with each other?

Just caused my NPP to meltdown, showing worker education as unsafe.

After the meltdown, the worker education returned to safe on the reactor that's just melted down :mad:

unless they fixed it school buses only do one trip and return to the school garages once they are full.

try sticking a normal bustop outside the schools as well

The serious money comes from manufacturing trade goods or getting raw resources out of the ground.

manufacturing if you are importing the goods requires a fairly large amount of currency to get going but once you can cover the constant import costs you can make some crazy money.

TV's are stupidly easy money

Id be interested in joining that region if you start it, haven't played in a few days and never did manage to get a proper region going on as the other cities were abandoned. Origin in sig.
 
I'm so awful at this game! I just can't seem to get them to build better/higher density houses/industry. Even using different road types.
 
its easy to make money in this game:

In one day with only 1 city near me that has a population of 200 (which obviously did not help me with anything)

I have this 10Million + 20-40k hour easily + great site (solar farm) 10% complete from only my resources and (ignore the money at the bottom) most of mine comes from other sources which does not come in per hour. :)

Once you have gotten to grips on how to make good money you can roll in the money, once you start making processors then moving on to producing TV's the game can become abit to easy, currently i am making 8/9million a month.

i guess i could but each city will be quiet different. to make serious cash
if you guys don't mind big posts it wont be a problem.

Your Taxes page so i know how you spending your dough

though to be honest your city needs to fair established. don't expect serious dough with dirt roads. :)

i'm no expert, but i know where you can save cash & what you need when.

Heck Most of my Industry Barely has Fire Coverage, but right education & good Place will save you THOUSANDS!.

One tip for you all.

Any big Spend put on a Big Avenue only, (medium+) why you may ask?
You will be destroying roads left right and center if you played this game a lot. you will know you lose Thousands by destroying small roads to make for avenues.

Urgh. My city with 250k just got rolled back to 115k. Rather strange they believe that was my last stable save as I loaded the game with 215k. This has happened before too although not quite so bad. I wish I could get a refund but I purchased this through GMG so don't fancy my chances. Pretty appalling. I won't be touching any game with EA's involvement in future.
 
I can't believe how small the cities in all of your pictures look. What are you supposed to do once you fill out that tiny tiny square and have no further room for development? None of them look even close to city size, they look like small towns.

Try this fullscreen borderless window program made by some steam user, i use it with SimCity and it works. Allows me to tab to my second screen without minimizing and pausing the game.
