Don't get me wrong, I've had a handful of decent ones from other packs (T.Silva, D.Silva, Hazard, Puyol) but I don't think I've had anything above an 80/81 rated player (max 1k sell-on value) in any of the "free" packs - doesn't exactly persuade me to get them next year!!!! :confused:

I thought i would prefer the "fast paced game" but i've been converted since FUT13 is so bad. I now prefer playing slower and having time on the ball.

I agree, FUT 12 was better than FUT 13 but 11 was probably better than that, i still cant handle the "one touch system" drives me crazy, even the best of players are so bad.

I enjoy making teams more than playing, i now sold all my coins and have just a standard brazil team and a standard premiership team that both costs around 30k each. Not falling into the trap of buying good players again and being out-performed all over the pitch, with a club full of top staff, and max chemistry.

Best player I pulled from other packs was IF Chiellini recently. Other than that the best was 88 rated Falcao back in October who served me well for 300 games.

Free packs was Alba and Eto'o.

I'd have to agree with you on that, the game just gets me all raged-up whereas I love the interaction of trying to bag a bargain and building your very own fantasy team!

Exactly, i used to love that feeling where your in the 59th minute with little money and you manage to bag a few bargains.
 
Having said the above, when i went back on FUT13 the other day for the first time in a month or so, they have clearly ruined the game EVEN more than when i quit. My team was worth over 100k its now worth about 30, they've flooded the market by completely releasing different types of cards which has made all the players prices drop significantly and its just pointless to even bother buying packs now days. I pulled a YAYA toure in a pack the other day and he was worth peanuts. He was worth 60k when i used to play.
 
game raged me yesterday for the last time.

came up against a silver team, and my 89 pace players couldn't out run his silvers.

Welliton couldn't out run his silver CB.

Vertonghen got beaten in the air by some crappy silver striker.

along with the usual, none of my player's could make a pass, the ball was always intercepted by his guys or wayward or when my player tried to control it, it was knocked loose, yet his player's were ping ponging it around like alonso with the control of messi.

all of my shots were saved, by freak keeping, i mean blasting it into the near corner and it usually rips past the keeper as they dive seconds later were getting blocked. yet he wins with the super header that beat vertonghen in the air from a long through ball and went straight through cech's hands.
all of my long shots which are usually on target went miles and by miles i actually mean miles over, as if they had been fired out of a circus cannon.

selling my coins and the game on wednesday when i have some free time. looks like it's blops 2 for a while.

Youre an idiot for staying with 13 for so long, having so much fun in 12, 13 makes me Stewy-rage at everything, in 12 I applaud if the other player scores/wins, because its either he outplayed me or I did something stupid, the engine just doesnt dictate it as much as 13 or make it so blindly obvious.

Ive got to say people that prefer FUT13 over 12, just must be ****, because all 13 has done has added so much randomness that its made really rubbish players better but not allowed really good player to exploit their skills as much as they spend half the time hoping the engine will do something expected...

At the weekend when I was losing I just upped the attacking stats in tactical options caused a few offsides but had all my players running forward like bees soon as i got the ball.

Just playing FIFA on ipad last night FUT is great fun.

Pity your squads don't port onto the iphone version :(
