Announcing the draft royal charter, Mr Cameron told MPs: "What happened to the Dowlers, to the McCanns, to Christopher Jeffries and to many other innocent people who've never sought the limelight was utterly despicable.

And the McCann's next book is going to be entitled: "We have officially never sought the limelight."

I don't understand the sentence.

Is it supposed to say thought?

Never sought the limelight was utterly despicable...say what.

Its a double joke isnt it.

Mr Cameron was so willing to just end it all and try to protect his chums, then saying the McCanns did not seek the limelight? after all that "Woe is us" crap?

Nothing makes this couple more important than the many other couples who have lost a child, it was their ultimate responsibility to protect the child and they failed, nothing more.

Maybe the McCanns shoud have thought about the potential media limelight before they killed their daughter. Or, that's what they wanted all along... Hmmm.

How very dare you!! You cannot criticise the McCann's in any shape of form!! It's anti-Semitical (Or something..)

Well if this act is designed to prevent trial by media and media intrusion into the lives of the families of victims then it's a good thing. but to cite the McCanns as an example when they have made every effort to court media attention makes me wonder how much thought was put into this.
