Im just updating my cv and wondering on my job history how far back i should go. Currently it goes back to June 2009. Is this too long or should i leave it on their.
 
I updated my CV today for an internal job application. My employment history goes back 17 years to my first job, but that and my second were in catering and don't relate to my career in finance so there's no detail. The first role with detail is they first role with the company who gave me my first finance role, but even then it's a pretty self explanatory job title. Only when I get to finance jobs do I go into detail of responsibilities & achievements in order to show growth and progression.
