So as the title says i'm finally getting on to my first WC build using the setup that I already have.
I have ummed and ahhed about cases for a while but I think i'm going to settle with an 800D from Corsair but if anyone can make a better suggestion I would be happy to consider it.
I will be cooling an i7 920 and a 570 GTX (both OC'd reasonably heavily) and would like to leave some room in the temps for a 2nd GPU and future upgrading.
After reading as much as I could around the subject I think i've come up with a basket which will get me everything I need in one fell swoop but first I have a few questions so any help would be appreciated.
Here's what I'm planning to buy first off:
VGA Block - Can't find anything better (and I assume the MSI version I have is the stock layout?)
360 Rad
CPU Block
Res/Pump Combo
Fittings
So, on to the questions:
Will 360 be enough raddage for what I need? I have seen some people recommend more for a loop with a 2nd GPU but from what I read it's enough for an OC'd CPU/single GPU? Is it worth adding another 120 in somewhere just for some extra coverage?
Pump/Res combo's - are they worth the money or would the difference between the one i've picked and getting a discrete res and pump be really noticeable? Ultimately i'm going for as quiet as possible here above anything else.
Fittings - Am I correct in assuming that the GPU block I linked needs 2 caps to close off the unused side when there's one GPU in the loop? Also, with that pump/res combo i've picked do I need to replace the fittings pictured with what i'm using or will slipping the tube over the barb and using a cable tie do the job well enough?
(to make sure I can count 8 fittings and 2 caps total?)
Thanks in advance to anyone who makes it through this and responds!
