So I saw an article on BBC News regarding weddings and giving any body that holds a belief to have the power to preform a marriage (Linky) and as mentioned there is a society called The Flat Earth Society

These guys, genuinely 110% believe that the Earth is flat

They disbelieve picture evidence in saying (in their FAQ in the Wiki) that pictures are to easy to fake:

In general, we at the Flat Earth Society do not lend much credibility to photographic evidence. It is too easily manipulated and altered

The space race/ moon landings didn't happen and so to save face the USA and the USSR agreed to cover it all up and so on... :confused:

This likely began during the Cold War's 'Space Race', in which the U.S.S.R and USA were obsessed with beating each other into space to the point that each faked their accomplishments in an attempt to keep pace with the other's supposed achievements.

How do these people (not excluding CT Junkies in this either) even manage to convince themselves that any of this is true or false? Not that I am going to point and laugh at them cause I only know what I have been taught by books, the media, teachers and the internet but I honestly don't think these guys have thought their theory all the way through...

This is what I thought - well I said if you pick a direction and keep traveling in that direction, without deviating from your course, you will eventually return to the same place
