Don't know who he is but good riddance to anyone in charge of any aspect EAs business model. Though i doubt anything will actually change in the quality of their games...
Business model indirectly affects the quality of the games though
The developers/coders aren't going to produce if they are under the thumb in terms of creativity, innovation and expression.. which is a solid backbone to many best sellers of their past games in better days
And we know with a lot of mainstream title rehashes its a case of playing it safe to garentee x amount of unit sales, even if by innovating and adding something special they could do even better, they just won't try to do it.. too much emphasis on quarterly statements
They are pumping out unfinished, often untested.. and poorly supported products with stuff traditionally considered extras bundled as DLC's.. because they are being instructed to do so
They are very much disconnected from the customers that have supported them down the years, before they became a big corperation monster.. I don't really buy games much anymore, let alone from origin/ea.. so I guess what does annoy me is the way they robbed the gaming industry/community of some brilliant developer studios just to keep their finger on the IP (yet not bother producing anymore games which made those studios who they were)
I should add, I have grown to see this view beyond the likes of EA, they just stand out because a lot of my favourite genres have died off through them
