Or at least stop giving stupid amounts to India. If a country has nukes/start of a space program they don't need foreign aid.

I'd getting redicolous with the amount of money we send off to other countries, which have probably more money themselves. I'm sure it's something like 200million/400m? something around that mark we send over to India each year?

Not my concern, make sure you are ok before you worry about overseas. That's what the yanks do & if it's good enough for them then it's good enough for our small insignificant country.

So you'd see no political impact to stopping all foreign aid? Would it not impact our commercial relationships with world powers that matter?

Well this years tagine is "to reward hard work" so tax cuts for those earning lots (as that's a marker of hard work always) and less help to those struggling to find work/working a low wage.

It's in our best interests to ensure some of these developing nations actually develop. So we can do business with them.
