The new neighbours cats keeps doing its numbers 2's in my small front garden. This has been on going for 6 weeks now .it stinks , god knows what they are feeding them.

It is gravel so I suppose it looks like there kitty litter tray but we are talking about 2 small squares either side of my front door around 8Foot by 2Foot each.

So I have tried to place a movement sensor that is designed to scare cats ( designed to emit a low pitch sound) , lemons , onions Jays sanilav and yet they still do there do in it.

Any ideas of how to stop this far short of a gun ?

Spray the area with anything that smells like citrus, we had this happening and they moved on since we started doing this daily.

Had the same problem and got one of those ultrasonic cat scaring devices and the problem has disappeared for me.

Edit -

Just reread your message and I see you tried it already - I've heard lion or tiger poo from a zoo can work.

Politely inform your neighbour of what has been going on and your attempts to resolve it. Then ask them to contribute to the cost of buying a better remedy or to assist you in the spraying or whatever cause of action that you decide upon (could be a free/very cheap and easy option).

If they are ****s then slap a letter before claim through their front door :D

tiger poop or any poo from a big cat, you can buy it online :D
cats cat sense its poo from a much larger cat and avoid its territory

NO THIS IS NOT A GD JOKE ALL THE ABOVE IS TRUE

I think you can also buy sprays that smell like poo from a much larger cat as well

Landmines

A slightly more legal route would be this stuff you can get from pet shops which you squeeze around the areas they go - it's hard to describe but is produces small gel based citrus-scented pellets (about the size of a 6mm BB). Don't need much and does work, although wears off quickly in wet weather.

Orange or any citrus peel works but not exactly nice to see in your garden/drive.

Pepper works a treat on our lawn where the next door neighbour's cat loves to do it's business.

The occasional bucket of water over the cat does wonders as well, don't much about with a water pistol catch it mid business with a full bucket if you get it a handful of times if will never come back.
