Hey!

After building my new comp last month I've been waiting to get paid to buy a new keyboard/mouse and headset.

I currently use the a Saitek Eclipse II keyboard, Logitech MX518 mouse and a just useless xbox turtlebeach headset which causes a lot of static on skype etc.

Looking to upgrade all 3, around about £100 for the keyboard, and £50 for each of the others (Or £60 mouse, £40 headset)

Does anyone have any suggestions? I want the keyboard to be mechanical and backlit but I can't decide on MX red or Blue switches.. having never used a mechanical keyboard it doesn't really help. Corsair K90 and Razer Deathwidow ultimate look nice, don't know if I should be put off the K90 for not having full mech keys though?

Mouse I really don't know.. MX518 is good, its just mine is old now and is making some high pitched noise too. Pretty much open to anything mouse wise apart from those Cyborg mice, not happening lol. I play a bit of everything, WoW, Diablo, Starcraft, BF3, and just about every other game out there. Been looking at the Deathadder, anything better for around that price? I tend to claw my mouse and use my fingers to mouse it around rather than palm it.

Headset I have no clue on! Never really bought a decent one for PC. £25 on a creative one once but that's about it so open to all suggestions!

Any advice would be great guys, thanks :)

Headset wise I would highly reccomend the Corsair Vengance 1500 :) Don't know whether if its too much but i find it is superb for music, movies and gaming. Although suited for more larger heads than small (I have a tiny head)

YOUR BASKET
1 x Logitech G510 Gaming Keyboard (920-002762) £82.99
1 x Logitech G500 5700DPI Gaming Mouse (910-001262) £39.98
1 x Plantronics GameCom 380 Stereo Gaming Headset £19.98
Total : £153.46 (includes shipping : £8.75).

This is what I'm using currently... Mouse is awesome, is about a year old and not missed a beat, and taken the rage punishment, keyboard is a few weeks old, I find it really nice to game and type on, I bought it because the screen is a nice little add-on to be honest, I can't really find it useful for anything, normally just use it for Ventrilo. Headset is maybe a few month old, the mic is good, it sounds ok, not amazing though, but didn't expect it too, bought it for the mic.

Thanks for the suggestions :)

That Corsair 1500 headset looks REALLY nice. Just watched a few reviews and I'll defiantly spend an extra few £'s to get that.

Keyboard I'm struggling with but edging towards a Corsair K90, anyone have one and recommend it?

Have the headset myself from a recent purchase, great price and it's amazing! The sound quality across movies, games, music is well worth the money! Need's a little breaking in at first as it can be a little tight, but that's expected!

On the K90 not all the keys are mechanical. I can recommend the Gigabyte Osmium, Red switches, backlit, fully mechanical. Also has wheels for volume and backlight brightness, both of which are useful.

I'd go for:

Headset Plantronics 780 - It has been rated above £100 headsets.
Keyboard - Gigabyte Osmium
Mouse - Razer Deathadder 2013
