Bosch batteries for £60 delivered

I dont have any issues with mine at the moment but would anyone replace the battery just because
it had reached a certain age, if so when roughly.

Cheap battery for my MX5 but you have to change the battery tray with all 3 offered So I s'pose that'll bump the price up & change it from Factory. Fail for me.

£45 for one for my Astra, that seems pretty good. Question is, whether it's my current battery that's causing some of the 'problems' I've currently got (headlights and interior lights dimming when turning the wheel, dim lighting etc) or if it's something else.

Sounds like your alternator is on the fritz. Stick a multimeter on the battery and start the car, it should read 14+ volts, if it doesn't, it's not being charged by the alternator and a new battery won't help you.

Nice site, 44 quid for mine, very cheap :)

Mines getting to the state where its a bit chuggy in the morning starting and my mechanic keeps telling me every time I go in when he checks it to get it changed.

It's held on through winter though! But I suppose I should get one of these :)

So you'd rather wait until it dies totally leaving you stranded? OK :p

That'll be the electric power steering pump sucking the spare juice out of the battery. Both of our zafiras have done it.

I woudn't fit a wet cell battery into the boot anyway, i don't think the mx5 has a vapour line for the gas, i went for : http://www.mx5parts.co.uk/westco-battery-mk1225-p-635.html

And it was spot on.

Should be for a hundred quid. I'll put one on my shopping list although I haven't had any issues with mine yet but then I am out in it daily.
I do like getting my parts from MX5parts, Love the way you get an email off the courier telling you what hour they will deliver, Last bundle was 7 minutes within the hour given.

It's a Honda it's guaranteed to ALWAYS start lol

The car has had about 2k off me since September/October. I aren't in a rush to spend more now I've had a month free from spending, so if the battery can hold out a little longer.... :D

Got mine from carparts4less for £55

I used performancebatteries.co.uk recently to purchase a battery for my pug 306-gti6. I went for an Alphaline battery. No idea how long it'll last but it was half the price of the Halfords equivilent yet had better specs. I paid £52 delivered. They do sell Bosch ones but they cost a little more I believe. I will say the last battery I had was a Halfords one and it lasted just under 8 years!

Knew I should have ordered a battery when I saw this thread, my Accord wouldn't start the other day so went to order and the site no longer sells Bosch batteries, just Yuasa now but the model that they are recommending from the measurements is way bigger than the current battery.

I got a Bosch s5 silver for the galaxy from carparts4less they always seem to have a discount code on the front page which meant it was£40 cheaper than halfrauds
