Gears of war Judgment pre order

Can't see why not, someone posted a few posts up that they're going to Tesco at midnight.
 
I've been playing this game for a few hours now.
At first I hated the changes but i'm getting used to it now.
There are a few problems I have with the game:
1)Lack of maps. I'm not interested in Overrun so 4 maps is FAR too few.
2)Human VS Human makes it confusing sometimes.
3)Not being able to down players. Worst decision of the series so far IMO.

I do like the map design. Being set on multiple levels and being able to jump down makes the maps more varied.

I only enjoyed the multiplayer in the original gears, couldnt get into it in 2/3. 1 shot down with active sniper was awesome, then trying to blow thier headoff with the sniper once they stood up was fun. Shogun battles were much better too in the original.
 
I had this pre-ordered but found out earlier this week that they removed Hoard, big mistake IMHO, and cancelled my pre-order. May pick it up cheaper but we'll see.

Got the game, but the Tesco deal of getting the game for £29 when you buy points wasn't valid last night, so didn't open it. Will head up to Tesco soon and get it sorted, then happy to join in for some games\co-op
 
Not sure what to do with my order now...more I'm reading the more I'm amazed with the stuff they've left out of this one...

No horde? That's crazy!
 
Picked mine up at the midnight launch and didn't get the bumper sticker I was promised :(

Just playing multi-player today until we have enough for co-op tonight, quite enjoying it so far. Really like the Overrun mode.
 
Hopefully my copy will be on the doormat when I get home from work tonight, will be up for a co-op game if anyone needs extra players. Add me Gamer tag : Love Plank
 
I got my copy yesterday but I was out until 2300 so only managed a couple of games before bed. I liked the Domination modes and Overrun.. I need a lot more practice on Deathmatch though :) I hope to get a few games in after work tonight and the weather for the weekend is terrible so I can justify playing even more then.

I also like the new skins and so far Anya is my favourite character, the girlies seem more agile..
 
I'll probably be playing some campaign over the next 3 nights (UK) Not sure what version ill be playing or what difficulty but anyone is more than welcome to add me and jump in to play wherever I'm up to.

My pre order copy at the depot (crappy royal mail) but picked up a copy from tesco on the way home from work ;) Been playing through the campaign a bit so far, new controls taking a bit of getting used to but getting there now. Add me, GT: love plank.
 
Well have already finished the campaign mode on hardcore so time to relax and then complete it on insanse mode. Will have to see what the new game modes are like. Have had a quick go on overrun which seemed fun from the limited game play that I have had although reminds me of team fortress to some degree.

Did you complete everything to 3 stars? The declassified mode really breaks up the flow of the game sadly. It's a nice idea to add the extra challenge but I think it should have been a separate mode like arcade was in Gears 3.

Liking it so far.
