Need feedback for my new rig

Thanks a lot for the info. It really has helped me a lot.
I think I know what i'm getting now :)
Much appreciated dude. :D

No worries, that's why we come here fella :)

Always, always, always post your basket before you order. There are daily offers too not just weekly ones, so it's nice to have it double checked incase you missed something like a better deal on RAM or the GPU.

If it's your first build I might suggest you do a build log. Take lots of pics of the boxes to start and take more as you progress through the build. Post them here and members will always offer advice which will give you more confidence and answer any questions you have.

Yes it's effort to do it but it will add to your post count here on the forum. After 3 months and 250 posts you will then qualify for free P&P which will come in handy if you are thinking of making small additions to your rig down the line.

I look forward to seeing what you settle on and seeing the rig complete perhaps ;) ;)

Nooooooo! Don't put doubts in my head now :(
No, i'm not sure. I'm not sure about anything. I'm a noob going on the advice of this forum :P
I have no idea what fits and what doesn't etc.

I've got the hdd and os.
Had a look at some keyboards, I cant decide on a nice one. Didn't really want to pay more than £30 for one. I got a Dell one that came with my old xps420, I really like it, it's got media functions for media player and stuff so i can flick through songs while gaming.
I know theres a few other keyboards out there for under £30 that do that, but they look a bit cheap and flimsy, my dell one is heavy and solid with nice projected keys :)
But yes, I did intend on finding a new one, I may save up for a mechanical one, if I can justify paying over £30 for a keyboard :P

ahh. i bought a perix px1000 for about 22 quid from the rainforest recently. its serving me well although very early days. its illumiated also which i though was good for such a low priced keybaord.

i can use up to 6 buttons at once which seems to be working fine.

the logitech G105 can be had for under £30 which also seems like a decent keyboard.

I've got another one for you :)

The ram fits under the heatsink fan? ;)

Else, use the AData, bit more epxensive but will fit.

Second, I would pick up the Matterhorn Pure over the Macho, but that's just me.

or dont use an aftermarket cooler at all, unless you are planning to OC fairly soon.

christ i just looked at how much the samsung ram is going for.

i paid £35 a few weeks back.
