Ebay withdrawal - pending?

Hi chaps i made a withdrawal from paypal yesterday around 5pm

It instantly went to a pending status and its still like it now. Under review or something

Any ideas when the money will be in my account?

The account is fully verified etc, just wondering whats going on.

I will call paypal tommorow if theres no change but thought id ask you chaps to see if any of you have had a similar thing happen.

PayPal like to hang onto money as long as possible. I still don't think they have heard of the Faster Payments service yet.

I've made multiple withdrawals from paypal this week direct to my bank account.
Every single one of them were instant.

How long have you had the paypal account? Is it a premier account?

Ohh its my account, fully verified etc

Its the withdrawal thats under review, apparantly this is an automated thing that can last up to 72 hours

Sold a 32" lcd tv on ebay which ive sent off, the buyer is happy and left positve feedback etc

This happens to my Paypal withdrawals at random. Sometimes payments say 'up to 2hours' which usually entails instant credit to my bank account and at times it says 'up to 72hours' for security checks.

Can't help be suspicious though, that it's a means for Paypal to accrue more money by holding onto the credit for longer, much the same way bank do.

its just hit a risk filter and been put into a queue to be reviewed by a real person... its a check they had to put in place along side faster payments to avoid money laundering and fraud, nothing (well, possibly *something*) personal

Yea its a filter they have.i withdrew 300 2 days ago then tried withdrawing 600 after selling a gpu but had to wait 22 hours. Call them they should have a time
