Hello all,

I'm hankering for a new game, I like both the Crysis and Dead Space games.

Crysis 3 is £17.99

Dead Space 3 is £14.99

Whats the best value game.

Many Thanks

They both look about the same price to me ;)

Seriously though, i've read quite a few place's the Dead Space 3 has quite a weapon custimization part to it, where you salvage parts and make your own weapons. And you cant actually get the best parts ingame, you have to buy them like DLC. Apparently this is quite sold to you as you play and you can feel like your sold short on that part of the game.

If you can overlook this though I've had plays on both and both are pretty fun! Crysis 3 has a more active online game though, that might be worth thinking about, and Dead Space 3 you can play the story game in CO-OP with a mate!

If you get DS3 from simply games instead of origins sale (same price of £19.99) you get the limited edition from them. Can dismantle the weapons for the parts if you want also which is a bonus. Makes the rest of the DLC stuff pretty pointless tbh. The machinegun with shotgun under it can be upgraded to the point where its pretty much tap the trigger whilst aiming at anything to slaughter it lol. I love the customisation though as it makes the game far more interesting, especially early on when you have to decide what to spend your precious little tungsten on!

Crisis 3 is just same old shooter and bored me so much i uninstalled it after about 30mins of play :/
What happened to unusual (not humans with guns) and challenging enemies!

Is DS 3 actually any good? How does it compare to previous games? I liked the last two (although the first was the best) but I here this one is complete garbage. It seems to have really poor reviews.

I really enjoyed my play-through of DS3. They've gone a different direction with this one though, yes you still get your jumpy moments but I feel its more action orientated.

Best feature of the game is no doubt the levels of customization regarding the weapons from salvages, works really well.. great having a one shot on top with a shotgun underneath for example.

Wouldn't rate it as highly as DS2, but still its worth the play!

I played all DS- and on 14th chapter of DS3 playing on hardest setting with mate- it is good and fun, don't understand why so many people complain about it.
In most cases 1st part of the game is always best as it is something new and you don't know what to expect...
DS1 was epic, DS2 was not that good to me when I played first time, but when played it second time had fun like in DS1. DS3 has huge weapon options and side missions with rewards and playing 2gether with somebody you know is a lot of fun :)

Crysis 3 if you have a good enough pc to play at good settings.

+1
It really does look superb. The gameplay seems better than 2 as well, the maps feel bigger and not so linear. I have been ******* a few times now for just standing around going 'cooo, isn't that pretty.' Splat!

Definitely Crysis 3, it's a solid shooter and looks just awesome if you have a decent PC. Never liked the dead space series much, always felt way too clunky to me and the new one is the poorest yet.

People do say Crysis 3 is a bit short though, so you may not feel it's value for money unless you like the multi player. Saying that, I've put about 8 hours into the main campaign and i'm still not finished so I reckon it's at least a 10 hour play through for an average player taking his time.

DS3 over 19 hours on first play through on hard difficulty not even touched co-op yet, It compares well with the first 2 DS games. the Awakened DLC is excellent but no point to the paid for weapon upgrades DLC you just do not need it. Weapon crafting is good fun, try to get the limited edition version if its still to be had.
