I'm cleaning out some of my old computer bits and pieces (fans, PCI wifi cards, soundcard, network & USB cables etc). Do you think these could potentially find a useful life somewhere else, or should they all just go in the bin?

Thanks

I keep sentimental stuff, like sound and graphic cards that were expensive and decent back in their day. It doesn't hurt to have a few spare cables and fan.

The rest just sell on Members Market.

Generally I just chuck it in the bin, however in the next six months you will require something youve binned and spend a good hour looking for it because you know youve got one somewhere. :S .

I had a Mountian of old pc stuff from a first build a while back and threw it. :(

I only kept one piece and that was a AMD FX-55 CPU. cost me a fortune when I first bought it. Probably worth about £10 now! :D

Hahaha! This didn't quite happen to me but something similar. I always end up storing some somewhere then months later I spend hours looking for it, raiding shelf to shelf or under the floor. Once nearly everything is a mess, when it really was hidden in one of the main cupboard shelves.

I really detest when you think it's somewhere and have forgotten. Or never naming boxes.
