mainboard and hsf for 3770K xfire

My first Kuhler 620 started making ridiculous rattling sounds after a while, so I sent it back for a replacement. The second one (the one which I still have) also started making stupid rattling sounds after a while, so I did a bit of searching and found that people were saying the problem only comes about when you plug the fan into the pump connector and plug the pump connector into the board in a 'daisy chain' like it says to in the manual, so I plugged the fans and the pump into seperate headers and the problem went away.

I probably could have done that with the first one, but I didnt know at the time.
As well as making the coolers perform better, I believe that was one of the things they improved with the Series 4.

if it was for myself i wouldnt mind giving it a go.. i have done my own custom open loops systems back in the Athlon XP days! but this is going out to a mate and he plays BF3 in tournaments and is gaming most nights.. in a loft conversion..with headphones on... i wouldnt like anything to go wrong lol!

I have an Athlon XP system with a custom loop in it sitting behind me on the floor haha. Trying to sell it at the moment, I can't imagine I would get much for it though

And thats fair enough, I don't think it would go wrong though, but thats just my view :)

I leave my PC on all the time, when I sleep, when i'm out, etcetera. It probably hasn't been off for longer than 10 seconds in over 3 months, and probably hasnt been off for longer than 20 minutes in over a year :D

Never had any blips with the 620 :) Now that ive given the pump its own header that is :p

There is cheaper ram, but if you are happy with what you have specced, then looks good.
I assume the cooler fits in the case all right.

(bloody token timout.. 3rd time lucky..)

i like the crucial ram and i wanted something quick with low height for the cooler clearance..

the case has 180mm clearance so no problems there i hope!

cheers for the help from everyone! will post a pic or 2 when its all here

well after an almighty screwup on the part of another retailer and a courior.. it took nearly a week to get my full build together..

my question now is which way to mount the PSU... Its got a nice LED fan and colour detail.. but will it be much worse flipping the psu (case allows both ways) to place the fan on the top inside the case...
