Bioshock 3 - Infinite

Had just over 4 hours on it here. While it's a good solid game, I'm just not getting the feeling that others seem to be. I haven't had one moment where I've paused and thought "oh wow, that's awesome", or anything to that effect.

It's an 8/10 for me so far, but a consistent 8/10 with no iffy or dodgy bits anywhere. I think it possibly loses a point for me because you can't but help feel at times you've played it before under the ocean..

Ahhh preloaded yesterday now everytime I try to play it i get a disk write error anyone any idea of how to fix this without redownloading?

Edit: Nvm just needed to free up some space on my SSD phew
 
I'm liking this game, but for a game that focuses a lot on immersion, I'm surprised that you have no body/legs, or even reflection.

Would be nice to look down and see your body, or even have your legs dangling when you were on a skyline.

GTX480 @ 1080P on Ultra with no AA easily nailing 60fps with some small dips down to 40-50 ish in random spots nvidia drivers are 310.61

That's good to know, I've got a GTX480 and was wondering how much I'd have to reduce the settings to get it to run smoothly. Looks like not much at all :D
 
GTX570 SSC running it fine at 2560x1440, I'm getting around 45fps in PP heavy areas whilst 60fps is the norm anywhere else. Very fluid with FSAA enabled and most other stuff on Ultra (shadows on HIGH though).

I thing the 1.2GB of VRAM is the limiting factor here as shadows on Ultra pushes it over the edge. The difference between Very High and High is small, maybe 4 fps but visually looks very similar. Not enough of an improvement to sacrifice 4fps.

There is no difference to fps having fsaa off or any of the texture quality settings on lower than Ultra so they get whacked all the way up :D
 
I got my AMD code in time but i must admit i know those who have received the keys up to a week AFTER release, and even then the code had already been used :|
