I keep going round in circles here..

Can anyone recommend or suggest 120mm fans that push a decent air flow at very low noise for a triple rad.

Thanks

edit..

Proposed setup

already got:
Swiftech MCR320-QP-K Triple 120mm
EK Supremacy CPU Waterblock

to buy :

XSPC Laing 18W DDC-Pump 12V DDC 3.25 - ULTRA PERFROMANCE - 900lphXSPC Acrylic Top for Laing DDC - out of stock :(
XSPC Dual 5.25” Bay Reservoir (Alu Front)
XSPC RS120 120mm Radiator - Black
8 x Bitspower Premium G1/4" Black Matte High Flow 7/16" ID (5/8" OD) Compression Fitting
EK-EKoolants UV Blue
XSPC HighFlex Hose 7/16" ID, 5/8" OD, 15.9/11.1mm, 2m, Blue/UV Blue

res >>> pump >> triple rad >> cpu block >> single rad >>> res

Is the single rad an over kill? I thought it would reduce the ambient temperature in the res before going to the triple.

Also, any got any experience of the Laing 18w? 3.25. Noisy?

yup, Scythe Gentle Typhoons got eh low RPM ones in my rig, can't even hear them

the PSU is louder :)

single CPU on a triple rad?
you could go with GT's if you really want to spend £45, or you can use XSPC 1200 or 1450RPM fans for £5-6 each

either will be over specced for a triple rad / single CPU loop

These one?

I've already got the triple from when i coooled the VGA in the same loop but I can't be ***** to WC cards anymore. To much hassle when upgrading. I get quite disappointing temps on my IB so I thought a combo of de-lidding and another rad might help.

I've just been testing a couple of Scythe GT's on a Monsta rad and I'd say hell to the yeah for low noise and airflow :)
The same goes for vs tests on a K2 cpu cooler.

Scythe GT
37cfm : 1150 rpm, 26db

Scythe Kaze Jyuni 1200RPM Slipstream 120mm
68cfm @ 1200 rpm, 24db

The Kaze Jyuni's look better or am i missing some here?

The Kaze's will flow more air if their sat outside the case blowing into an airflow meter, however the GT's will push/pull more when bolted to a radiator and forced to overcome the resistance involved.

NB, your noise stats for the 1150RPM GT are wrong, its supposed to be 16 dBA.

Where are you getting the air pressure stats?

^They are good, and do move some air, I have 6 on my two 360's. At full speed though they do belt out some noise so a fan controller is essential if using them. Silent up to around 1000-12000 rpm.

High Budget = GT's, Corsair SP's
Med Budget = Yate Loon/XSPC
Low Budget = Golf III

Ideally you'll want a controller what ever you choose.

I have had 2 different DDC 18w pumps and both have been quite loud. Alternatively you could use some 7v or 5v adapters, I have some of them golf III's (sharkoon silent eagle) 1000rpm version and found I had to undervolt them to about 7v to keep them quiet or I'm a silent nut.

ive got a couple of those oem golf fans now.

at £3 a fan they are a true bargin!

ive tested mine on a fan controller and even at min speed they are literally silent, cannot hear them over a 120mm akasa apache. they shift a good amount of air at min speed, you can still feel it through the radiators.

im gonna buy a couple more of them and just use them for the radiators. serious bargin

If i took into account the performance, noise and cost then these are the best fans ive bought. i dont think they look bad either!

I would ignore all of the stats any manufacturer puts out about their fans because they are nearly 100% utter B.S.

Here are some good rad fans:

noctua nf-p12/f12
silverstone AP's
scythe gt's
corsir sp's
noiseblocker e-loops (specific models)

Interesting, I was under impression the pumps were quite quiete.

Scythes own page: http://www.scythe-eu.com/en/products/fans/gentle-typhoon-120-mm.html

1,150 rpm: 0.034 A - 16 dBA - 63 m³/h

Personally I would recommend the GT's over the Kaze's, even though im currently running three 800RPM Kazes on my rad lol (If 800RPM GT's were redily available in this ocuntry I would snap up three of them).

Thanks Ubersonic - I am still confussed as why a fan almost double the CFM andair pressure isn't as effective as the lessor one?

Sythe Kaze Jyuni SY1225SL12M K24,00 dBA / 68,54 CFM = 117 m³/h / DC12 V / 0,26 A (1,200 rpm Version)

Scythe GentleTyphoon 120 D1225C12B3AP-13 (1,150 rpm) 1,150 rpm: 0.034 A - 16 dBA - 63 m³/h

reason I'm asking is i already have 3 Jyuni's on the triple rad.. but wondering if i could improve.

It's a mixed bang of opinions, you need to mount it on some sort of foam/ decouple them for them to be quiet. Personally I would just go with the D5 pump has they tend to run quieter, can control the speed on the vario model.
